The Wellness in Wolfville Experience

Day 1: Ground & Gather
Begin your wellness experience with an early morning class at YogaLife on Main Street. This studio provides a warm, accepting, safe, peaceful atmosphere while inviting all participants to practice compassion for their bodies.
After class, observe the town coming to life around you as you walk down to Just Us! Cafe for breakfast. Journal quietly at a table while sipping on a matcha latte or a hummingbird iced tea (a local “secret menu” item made of hibiscus iced and half a shot of lavender syrup with half a shot of lemon syrup).
Under the canopy of the trees, take yourself on a self-guided forest bathing experience at the Acadia Woodland Trails, ending with the stunning native flora of the Acadian Forest Region in the Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens (located at the K. C. Irving Environmental Sciences Centre on the Acadia University Campus). For a more guided, immersive option, consider the Botanical Medicine in the Annapolis Valley experience, led by a 5th generation Nova Scotian, Registered Herbalist and Biologist.
Once you feel fully grounded in nature, take a short drive outside of Wolfville to Tangled Garden, and taste the delicious, one-of-a-kind items - all grown onsite - found in your carefully packed picnic basket, which can be enjoyed in the tea room or in your own special nook in the garden itself.
From the Tangled Garden, head back into Wolfville and step into the tranquil oasis of the Salt Chamber at BeLeaf Salon & Spa, where natural wellness meets modern relaxation. Designed to envelop you in serenity, the Salt Chamber is a haven for restoring balance, rejuvenating your senses, and enhancing overall well-being.
After the gentle hum of relaxation, make your way over to Jeju Restaurant. Jeju in South Korea is a dream island that provides healing and local produce to city dwellers who are looking to escape their daily lives. The restaurant offers fresh food and a joy-filled dining experience just as beautiful as Jeju’s namesake!
Day 2: Nourish & Nurture
Gather your takeaway breakfast at Charts Cafe this morning before filling your spirit with a sunrise walk along the dykes of the Minas Basin. Reflect and find solace in the silence as you observe the eagles passing overhead and the piper darting about the water’s edge.
After your walking meditation, enjoy a personalized treatment series at High Tide Wellness, from massage to IV therapy with a registered Naturopathic Doctor. By offering personalized care and holistic treatment options, High Tide Wellness strives to create a welcoming and healing environment where longevity and sustainable health practices are the norm.
For lunch, simply head next door to Eos Natural Foods, which offers whole, organic, and local foods, spices, and teas. To complete the experience, take your lunch items down to Willow Park and sit on one of the benches amongst the full flower beds.
In the afternoon, journey deeper into your mindfulness and self-compassion practice by joining in a wellness workshop at Breathe Mindfulness Centre. In this workshop, foster a more connected, meaningful, and compassionate relationships with yourself, with others, and the world you live in.
