Getting to Wolfville from Halifax Stanfield Airport (YHZ)
Step-by-Step Driving Directions:
Driving time: approximately 1 hour, 10 minutes
Exit the airport and follow signs for Highway 102 South (Truro/Halifax).
After leaving the terminal, stay on Bell Boulevard for about 4 km.
Merge onto Highway 102 South toward Halifax/Bedford.
Continue on Highway 102 South for about 40 km (25 miles).
Stay in the right-hand lanes as you approach Exit 4B for Highway 101 West.
Take Exit 4B onto Highway 101 West toward Windsor/Annapolis Valley.
This is the main highway that leads to Wolfville and the broader Valley region.
Continue on Highway 101 West for about 55 km (34 miles).
You’ll pass towns like Mount Uniacke, Windsor, and Hantsport.
Take Exit 10 for Wolfville/Grand Pré.
At the top of the exit ramp, turn right onto Trunk 1 (Main Street) heading toward Wolfville.
Drive about 6 km (3.7 miles) into the heart of Wolfville.
You'll pass the Grand Pré National Historic Site on your right just a few minutes before entering town.
Keep following Main Street — you'll soon see Acadia University and the charming shops and restaurants downtown!
