The Ultimate Family-Friendly Adventure

This itinerary is packed with playful stops, hands-on fun, and plenty of places to relax and recharge. Whether you stay for the day or make it an overnight trip, your family will make lasting memories in the heart of the Annapolis Valley!

Day 2

Grab coffee and breakfast for the whole family just a few doors down at Just Us! Cafe. We would highly recommend one of their chocolate dipped oat cakes or cinnamon buns!

Once everyone’s bellies are full and ready for another day of adventure, pick up picnic items at Carl’s Your Independent Grocer then walk on down to the Recreation Hub just across the street from Willow Park. At the Recreation Hub, rent helmets and bikes (available in a range of sizes and e-bike options) and set off down the scenic Harvest Moon Trail towards Landscape of Grand Pré, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After a full day of biking and exploring the grounds, return your bikes to the Recreation Hub. Take a quick family selfie at the Wolfville sign in Waterfront Park, then pick up a refreshing cup of bubble tea at Chatime on Main Street before heading home again.

Day 1

Start the day with some magic! Discover the colourful games, graphic novels, books, and more at Rainbow’s End. Next, wander over to Muddy’s Convenience to explore their wide selection of international snacks and drinks. From Japan to Brazil and everywhere in between, even the pickiest eaters will find something fun to enjoy for lunch.

An afternoon at the Splash Pad? Could there be a better way to spend a summer afternoon?! After your Main Street stops, head on over to our kid-approved Splash Pad in Willow Park, right next to our Visitor Information Centre.

Once you’ve had enough of the water buckets and sprayers, check into your night’s stay at Hotel Wolfville. Take a moment to rest and recharge in the hotel’s spacious accommodations and throw in a quick load of swimwear and towels in your very own in-suite washer and dryer.

For supper, walk around the corner to Pizza Lupa for a few wood-fired slices. Don’t forget to save room for dessert!
